The competition for talented people will always create challenges for an organisation. Ensuring your organisation can better identify and manage its people with regard to key positions and roles is crucial. The economic conditions of a high tech global economy has added complexity and increased pressure. As a consequence many organisations now have flatter structures and this can create a natural barrier for internal promotion; the promotion step to the next level is perceived to be too great. Filling vacant positions with external hires is costly, time-consuming and often debilitating in the short term. Too great a dependency on external hiring for key/senior positions generates additional problems for a business as people recognise the existence of a ‘glass ceiling’ and explore career opportunities elsewhere; attrition of key people then becomes an issue. By adopting a succession planning methodology risks and gaps can be identified and strategies and plans can be created to mitigate and manage the identified issues.

  • Succession Plan providing a full report of the organisation’s succession plans including risks and gaps with appropriate recommendations and proposals to manage these including recruitment and retention strategies, coaching, secondments, leadership development, performance management, and development assignments.
