Coaching, whether it is for professional or personal reasons, is about realising potential; enabling us to achieve more. Our coaching approach is to develop close relationships that provide future focussed and goal orientated challenge and support. We coach by increasing self awareness, creativity, and the intrinsic motivation to accelerate growth and personal achievement.
As external coaches we work with people to explore their thinking, beliefs, values and goals within the bounds of a confidential and independent relationship. The freedom this creates is at the heart of why coaching is so successful and valuable to the individual and their organisation.
The responsibilities and challenges facing senior leaders within an organisation are onerous and demanding. No organisation wants its key people to fail; the opposite, organisations need and want these individuals to succeed. Executive and Leadership coaching provides a personally tailored programme designed to accelerate professional development and or enhance performance. People often seek out a coach if they have reached a crossroads in their life. They are often wrestling with significant questions or challenges that are more personal than work related and find that coaching provides them with the challenge and support they need. As with Executive and Leadership Coaching, Personal Coaching gives individuals the freedom to explore their thinking and put in place the steps needed to realise their desires.
Team coaching is very effective as it supports teams as they address key work issues and challenges. This facilitative coaching approach also enables teams to recognise, surface and resolve interpersonal and relationship issues that may exist. In essence the coaching is functioning at two levels; dealing with the ‘what’ and also the ‘how’. This coaching builds relationships and collaboration within the team, provides sustainable performance improvement and enables the team to function more effectively.
We work with organisations to provide external coaching in support of development and talent management programmes. Coaching is a very effective support for those who have attended Leadership and Development programmes as it supports people as they transfer their learning to the workplace. Similarly providing coaching to those identified as part of a talent management process (e.g. High Potentials) is also a key development strategy.
Our coaches are Post Graduate level qualified professionals with a passion for developing people to achieve personal and organisational goals. We are members of the Coaching Circle, an organisation that provides Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Supervision for coaches. We are also members of the National Council of Psychotherapists. Both organisations have codes of ethics which we are committed to working with.
